According to a new report from American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI), Apple remains the top ranked mobile phone manufacturer, followed by Motorola and Nokia in the United States. According to the website, ACSI is the only independent national benchmark of customer satisfaction available in the United States.
ACSI recent report (via CNET), surveyed 70,000 mobile phone users in the United States. And the results show that Apple scored of 81 points (out of 100) to remain in first position. This is a 2 percent drop from last year. On the other hand, OEM such as Motorola, Samsung and Nokia saw and increase from last year. With Samsung, achieving the largest growth with a 7 percent increase from last year.
“The improvement [for Samsung] is the largest yet for any cellphone manufacturer,” the ACSI report said (via Cnet). “Nevertheless, Samsung remains well behind industry leader Apple.”

This survey will be welcome news for Apple fans, after a recent review from Consumer Report indicates that Apple’s iPhone is losing out to Samsung’s Galaxy line as the best smartphone in the US.
