According to Money Today – a Seoul based daily newspaper, Samsung will introduce the prototype of the Samsung Galaxy S4 at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
Samsung Electronics’ vice chairman Lee Jae-yong and president of the company’s IT & mobile communications (IM) division Shin Jong-kyun are set to leave for Las Vegas on January 9, Hak – Yeol Lee reports for Money Today. The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will be held in Las Vegas on January 8-11.
Apparently the two executives will introduce the prototype of the Galaxy S4 in a private meeting instead of exhibiting the product at the show. This is to ensure competitors and consumers remain in the dark until the launch of the final product later this year.
According to the report, the Samsung Galaxy S4 will feature a five-inch full-HD (1920×1080) AMOLED display and ARM Holdings’ A15-based quad-core Exynos 5440 application processor (AP). Samsung’s new smartphone is expected to receive strong competition from other vendors such as China’s Huawei and ZTE, which are expected to exhibit full-HD smartphones at the CES.
