RIM is planning to release a new 4G LTE model of its BlackBerry PlayBook in Canada on the 9th August. The company blogs that, “Canada is the first country to launch the 4G LTE BlackBerry PlayBook tablet, and additional models supporting various high speed cellular networks are expected to be available in the coming months from carriers in the US, Europe, South Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.”
The press release further states:
