The new iPhone in production according to sources

iPhone 5Digitime has become the second middle east correspondent news outlet in the last week to report that the new iPhone is in production.
The article states, “Pegatron has begun production of a new version of the Apple iPhone at its factory in Shanghai, eastern China, according to industry sources in Taiwan.”
This would see the new iPhone launching sometime in October, similar to that of the iPhone 4S. The article added that, “Pegatron is expected to see ODM shipments of notebooks decrease sequentially in third-quarter 2012, and orders for the new version iPhone are enough to make up for decreased revenues from the notebook segment, according to sources.”

The article continues, “Pegatron has also has reportedly become the second OEM maker of a new version of iPad, with shipments in the third quarter expected to reach a few million units, the sources indicated.”
