It appears Apple has something big plan for its ‘hobby’ Apple TV set-top box.
The product briefly showed up on Apple’s Official Chinese Online Store suggesting that a new product launch is imminent.

9to5 Mac recently reported that Apple was making big changes to their current Apple TV set-top box. These will reportedly include: a revamped operating system that will be based on iOS, new input methods such as motion controls and an App Store or a “Game Store” for the device. Following this report, Apple has begun promoting the Apple TV as a full product line instead of tucking it away as an accessory in the iPod department.
