Apple TV 6.0 Update Reportedly Bricking Apple TVs

According to a new report from 9to5 Mac, the new 6.0 software is “bricking” and causing network issues for many users. .

“In some particular instances, Apple TVs have also been permanently bricked or they lost the content on the device during the update,” Scot Buscemi reports for 9to5mac. “Other devices could not download any internet content even when an internet connection was connected.”

As a result, Apple has reportedly pulled the new update and now devices on Apple TV 5.3 are seeing no update available.

The Apple TV 6.o update had brought a several new features which include: the iTunes Radio, AirPlay from iCloud, iCloud Photos and Videos, iTunes Music Store, and conference room mode.
