Weiphone (via Beijing Daily news) is reporting that Apple is about to usher in their fourth Retail Store in Beijing. According to the report, the new store will be located in the CTS buying center and renovation work has been in full swing. Apparently the building site is currently under wraps, stopping observers from seeing the design of the Store.
The CTS shop had already entered the preparatory work, based current progress, the new store will be finished by the end of the year and open to the public. Apple currently has three retail store in Beijing, which are located in Sanlitun, Wangfujing Street and Xidan Joy City, according to the report.
According to the report, Apple has plans to open additional retail stores in Guangzhou, Chongqing, Dalian and other places, however, there is no confirmation of this.
During his trip to China, Apple CEO Tim Cook had this to say about Apple’s prospect in the country:
China has always been Apple’s most important market, is now our second largest market, I am convinced that in the near future, China will become Apple’s largest market in the coming years, Apple has launched localized products for the Chinese market. Apple already has 11 stores in the Greater China region, as well as many of our distributors in China, we will continue to expand the number of outlets to 25.
