An exclusive report from Chinese tech blog – C Technology suggest that Apple will be releasing their long rumoured iWatch device October 2014, according to information from insiders.

Key highlights from the report include:

  •  Apple’s iWatch currently has tested two batches of prototype, progress is also good, but the screen size is still not identified.
  • Current prototypes of the iWatch has a battery capacity of 100 mA. However, the 1.63 inches Galaxy Gear from Samsung has a  battery capacity of 315 mA and can be used for 25 hours. It’s suggested that Apples system optimisation and power management system might enable the iWatch to work with a small battery.
  • The iWatch will feature wireless charging, which may also help to address the issue with the small battery.
