This one should get the Android fans and Apple fans talking for a while.

According to a report from the Washington Post, a man escaped with several iPhones from a Springfield wireless store but inexplicably left his Samsung Galaxy smartphone at the scene of the crime! WTH (what the hell).

“Fairfax County police arrested Travis Montgomery Snyder, 25, on Monday in Remington, Va., after tracing the phone’s subscription to him, according to a search warrant,” Justin Jouvenal reports for the Washington Post. “Surveillance footage from DMW Wireless in the 7000 block of Spring Garden Drive also showed a man matching Snyder’s description, according to a search warrant.”

“Police were called to scene Feb. 19 for a report of an alarm. When they arrived, they found a smashed glass display case and missing iPhones, according to a search warrant. Snyder’s phone was found inside the front door of the store, under broken glass,” Justin Jonvenal explains.Apple devices appear to be very popular with thieves. Earlier this year it was reported that a thief stole iPads from a Microsoft office leaving behind many Microsoft products.
